The Osolu of Irewe kingdom in Ojo local government area of Lagos State, Oba Abideen Adekanbi has congratulated the Osun State governor, Engr. Rauf Aregbesola on his recent victory at the Court of Appeal sitting in Ibadan.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS at his palace recently, the monarch said the judgement was a clear indication that the judiciary was the last hope of the oppressed.
He noted that it was the right of the people to vote for a candidate of their choice adding that justice will always triumph.
“I congratulate Engr. Raufu Aregbesola on the recovery of his stolen mandate; no matter how long, the truth will always overtake falsehood.
He described Engr.Aregbesola as a humble and competent personality, considering his tenure as commissioner in Lagos.
The traditional ruler also praised the leadership qualities of the former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the governor of Lagos State, Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, and ACN leaders for standing firmly behind Engr. Aregbesola throughout the period of the struggle for justice.
