The Chairman, Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Mr. Muftau Aremu Kadiku, has been commended for beautifying the area, joining the state government in its effort to achieve the mega city project initiative and in delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
The chairman has turned Tokunbo and Oshodi streets, not only to a beautiful place to behold but a cynosure of eyes to the surprise of the residents of the area.
Other areas that were also enjoyed the chairman’s beautification initiative, according to Lagos Bulletin investigation include P&T and Moloney Roundabout, among other places.
While commended the council chairman for his lofty effort, the residents called on other council bosses in the state to emulate him and join hands with the state government in its efforts of achieving the mega city dream.
Earlier efforts to speak with Mr. Kadiku some time ago when Lagos Bulletin sought to see him over the environmental situation at Sandgrouse Market were rebuffed by his aides.
