One thing that added colour to the awards night was the quality of presenters and celebrity guests that graced it.
Apart from American rap diva and actress, Eve, who hosted the show, top celebrities within and outside Africa strut the stage to make presentations.
Among them were actress Genevieve Nnaji, who stormed the stage with her presumed boyfriend, D’Banj; ex-soccer star, Daniel Amokachi; super model, Oluchi Onweagba, stand-up comedy star, Julius Agwu; international soul singer, Nneka; celebrity fashion designer, Lisa Folawiyo; MTV DJs, Vanessa Mdee and Siswe Dhlomo; Ba Ponga, Dama do Bling, Muthoni, Tatiana and Jojo, among others.
