Mirza Relishes Marrying Malik

Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza, says she feels being the luckiest girl on the earth having married the “loving dream boy” Shoaib Malik, the former captain  of the Pakistani national cricket team.

Despite being a prominent global sportsperson, Sania says she has achieved “the unprecedented happiness of life” after the marriage. “In practical life I  have got the prince of my dream,” she said in an interview with The News daily published here on Saturday marking nine months of married life.

“All this while there have been no differences between us, not even minor ones,” she stressed.

During the interview, Sania said she was sure that she could not have found a better husband than Shoaib, confirming that ever since the marriage, the couple  have been having a happy and successful life.

“I have won the first match in Dubai after our marriage and Shoaib was present in the Tennis Court. Both of us are professional players and understand the  requirements of such persons. The God Almighty had made us ideal couple,” she said.

Sania said she is an Indian and would retain the nationality but added that they have decided to settle in Dubai.

“I have been playing and have no plans to retire from tennis. I wish to grab a gold for India in the London Olympics.”

She said Shoaib is out of Pakistan cricket but prayed for his return. She also requested his fans to pray for the return of Shoaib to cricket. She also asked  his fans to support of him.
