Russia’s national rugby team will play two matches against provincial teams in New Zealand in January as part of its buildup to the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

The New Zealand Rugby Union said that Russia will arrive on  7 Jan. and would play matches against a Taranaki XV in New Plymouth on 15 Jan. and South  Canterbury in Timaru on 21Jan.
