Some workers at the Ikotun, Lagos branch of Christ Embassy church have been arrested by the police and charged before the Ejigbo Magistrateâ€
The accused, Wilson Edoh, 27, Onyeka Okeke, 20, Adeigbe Imoleayo, 24 and Chukwudi Irunokhai, 30 were alleged to have broken into the church after a service in the evening and stole the items. The items stolen include generators, fans, stabilisers, among others.

A police source revealed that they were arrested on the spot after the man they took the stolen items to alerted the police at Igando Station.
They were charged to court on a five-count charge of stealing, burglary and conspiracy.
Count two of the charge filed against them reads: “That you, the attendants, at the same date, place and time did break and steal the items belonging to Pastor Osage Osachae, the pastor of the church.â€
They pleaded not guilty to the charge and Magistrate S.O. Solebo granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with one responsible surety.
The matter has been adjourned till 7 February, 2011 while the defendants were remanded in prison custody, pending their fulfilment of the conditions attached to their bail.
