There was confusion in Mushin area of Lagos State, South West Nigeria, this morning when a container fell on two cars.
The incident which occurred along Agege Motor Road left the two cars, a Toyota Corolla with registration number LK 483 AAA and a Mitsubishi Lancer crushed.
However, no life was lost as people around the area where the accident occurred quickly mobilised themselves and rescued the occupants in the cars.
P.M.NEWS learnt that the incident occurred when the driver of the truck carrying the container lost control of the vehicle and climbed a walkway.
In an attempt to return to the road, the container fell from the truck and on the cars.
As at the time of filing this report, officials of the state traffic control agency, Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, LASTMA, policemen and officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps were directing traffic on the road to prevent a gridlock.
