A lawmaker representing Eti Osa Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly under the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Prince Jide Akinloye, has described the statement of President Goodluck Jonathan and People’s Democratic Party, PDP to capture Lagos State in the next general elections come 2011 as a mere thought.
Akinloye, who is bidding to represent Eti Osa at the Federal House of Representative next year said with the number of good works the ACN has implemented in the state, it is pertinent to note that only ACN government projects transparency, accountability, speedy development of human capital and public infrastructure.
Speaking on his mission for the people of Eti Osa, Akinloye, who is the Chairman Committee on Works, said he will not relent in his effort to develop youths  through vocational training, which he has been organising since he was elected in 2003.
He asserted that it was only a courageous man that will perform excellently under any condition, no matter the criticism, adding “my courage will allow me to get things done for the betterment of Eti Osa.
He said the ongoing projects in Eti Osa include: Mayegun Drainage, Micro Water works Badore, Ikota Road, Ado Badore Road, Badore Jetty, Ogombo Ajiwe Road, while those to be approved include the General Hospital Ajiwe, Langbasa Road, and Rhythm FM Road.
He advised all Nigerians to protects their vote and act as an agent of positive change so that the era of electoral malpractices will end, while enjoining everyone to register en masse during the forthcoming voter registration exercise.
