Gani Fawehinmi Chambers has described the death of elder statesman, Chief Anthony Enahoro, as a devastating blow to Nigeria and called on government toÂ immortalise him for his struggle in ensuring that Nigeria got its independence.
Mohammed Fawehinmi, head of the chambers, who made the call also commiserated with the governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole on the death of hisÂ wife and with the family of the late fuji musician, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister.
Fawehinmi described the death of the Nigerians as â€œtripple blow to Nigeria.â€
It blamed the death of some Nigerians including President Umaru Yarâ€™Adua, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, Mariam Babangida and many others on failure of government toÂ equip the countryâ€™s health institutions to treat some diseases.
He called on both executive and legislative arms of government to come together to reinvigorate, repackage and regenerate the countryâ€™s health andÂ educational institutions in accordance with the provisions of Sections 13 to 18 of the 1999 Constitution.
