My Hubby's Death Not Natural —Wife Of Late ACN Chieftain

The first wife of the late Lagos Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Assisting Secretary,Tunde Balogun, has described the death of her husband as mysterious.

The deceased was among other members of the party who were sworn in as newly re elected executive members of the party last Thursday.

Babalola was said to have fallen sick on Friday and was rushed to a hospital. He was discharged the following day but  died at the early hours of Sunday.

P.M.NEWS reliably gathered that his sickness got worst on Saturday evening, when he started vomiting black substance till about 4.a.m on Sunday before he  died.

Speaking with P.M.NEWS at their residence at 18, Ogundimu Street, Off Abiodun Street, Somolu, Lagos, Mrs. Bola Balogun said that the ACN political leader’s  death was unfortunate, adding that the cause of his death is clearer to God almighty.

The mother of four described her late husband as a gentle, friendly and accommodating man.

“Actually, he doesn’t eat outside, but when his health got worst on Saturday evening and  started vomiting black substance, we saw the traces of food in it.  I guess he must have got carried away  and ate with some people when he was elected.

His elder sister, Mrs. Olatundun Ajayi, told P.M.NEWS that it was as if the late politician had a premonition of his death. She said her later brother asked  her to come to Lagos about 10 days ago which was unusual of him.

“He was very homely and accommodating fellow. He was not greedy. We were the only ones left out of the seven children our mother gave birth to but look at  what happened now. He has left and gone,” she cried.

Meanwhile, the late politician’s pregnant second wife could not comment about her husband’s death as she kept crying throughout the interview with our  reporter.
