An Automatic Teller Machine, ATM, located at an eatery at Idimu Road, Egbeda, Lagos, South West Nigeria has been burgled by thieves.
The thieves reportedly went to the place at night and dismantled the facility and carted away all the money stashed in the machine.
They gained entrance into the place without the knowledge of the security men guarding the place.
Workers discovered that the eatery had been burgled when they resumed work in the morning.
The matter was reported at Idimu police station where the police were said to have commenced full investigation on the incident.
When P.M.NEWS visited the place, workers in the eatery confirmed the incident and said that they got to know about the incident just like other persons.
Efforts to speak with the owner of the eatery proved abortive because the workers said he was not around.
At the police station, the DPO was also not available but police sources confirmed the incident, saying that investigation has commenced. However, no arrest has been made.
