Buhari Emerges CPC Presidential Aspirant
True to expectations, former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) today emerged the presidential candidate of Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, at the party’s national convention which is still on as at the time of writing this story.

Buhari, who also a candidate in the 2003 and the 2007 presidential elections under the platform of All Nigeria’s People Party, ANPP.
ANPP was chosen as the candidate of CPC by popular proclamation at the convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja as he was the only presidential aspirant of the party.
The CPC is in alliance talks with the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and if the discussions were successful, he may fly the flag of the two parties at the presidential election.
The party is also expected to choose one out of former Information minister, Tony Momoh and Mike Ahamba, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and long time associate of Buhari.
