The national leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has finally endorsed the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola for a second term in office.
Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu made this announcement this afternoon at the ACN stakeholders’ meeting held at the party’s secretariat, Acme Road Ogba, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
With due consultation and in agreement with all our party leaders throughout the state and at the national level, I am announcing to you the final endorsement of Babatunde Raji Fashola for the governorship position of Lagos State in 2011.
“I am assuring you all that the next four years will be greater and better than the past four years. We want to win the country and we are winning as ACN.
“Alliance or no alliance, we are the beautiful bride and who wants to marry us must not be ugly like Ota,†Tinubu said jokingly.
