Lagos ACN Scribe Advises Aspirants
Administrative Secretary of the Action Congress Party of Nigeria, ACN, Lagos chapter, Mr. Shola Abayomi, has advised all political aspirants to study the guidelines for the conduct of the primaries of the party and adhere to them strictly.
He appealed to them to conduct themselves properly at the venue of the primaries and refused to be used to disorganise them.
“I am also appealing to the youths not to allow themselves to be used by political aspirants to distrupt the primaries. They should comport themselves because they are the leaders of tomorrow. They should protect their image and not embark on devilish acts during the primaries and the forth-coming elections.
“By the time we complete the primaries, the candidates will emerge and carry the banner of the party into the coming general elections. We’ve what we call the party’s code of conduct. All aspirants have been provided with this. We are appealing to them to abide by it.
“They should not allow personal interest to override the overall interest of the party. They should uphold the supremacy of the party,†he stated.
The Lagos ACN administrative scribe disclosed that the primaries for the national and state assemblies will hold on Monday while the governorship primaries will hold on Wednesday. “The presidential primary election will take place on 14 January,” he added.
