Lagos Junior League Update: Prepare For War; Odi-Olowo Coach Warns Ifako-Ijaiye
Odiolowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Football Team have warned Ifako Ijaye to prepare for a tough match when both teams clash in the ongoing Lagos Junior League. Their tie is slated for 15 January at the Campos Sports Centre, Lagos Island.
Odiolowo/Ojuwoye who are currently number seven on the table have played seven matches, won three and lost four while their opponents are in the second position.
Coach of Odiolowo/Ojuwoye, Ademisoye Adebayo told P.M.Sports that their match against Ifako Ijaye will be a tough affair. He thinks they cannot afford to lose the match against Ifako Ijaye, saying that anything short of victory will be a disappointment to their followers.
“We are targeting a win in our next match so that we will be among the top five teams that will gain promotion to the Premier Division 1. It will be a big blow if we lose our next match because it may affect our promotion plans,†he said.
Adebayo also commended the Odiolowo/Ojuwoye Council Boss, Yemi Alli for his effort on the team. He disclosed that the Council Boss has rewarded the team finacially since the Lagos Junior League started.
“We want to thank the council boss for his kind gesture to the players and other officials. The players are in high spirits and ready to go all out for victory in their remaining matches,†he said.
