APGA Holds Emergency Congress Tomorrow

The Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) scheduled to hold on Monday has postponed its congress to Wednesday.
The Chairman of the party in the state, Mr. Okechukwu Nkoloagu, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Monday that the postponement was because of logistics problems.
He added that the shift was to ensure transparency and credibility.
“When members of the National Working Committee met, they discovered that the ballot papers which ought to have photographs of contestants were not available.
“They decided to shift the date to Wednesday when the ballot papers would be ready,†Nkoloagu said.
Nkoloagu said that the party wanted the primaries to have credibility, hence, the postponement.
