Cleric Wins MPPP Lagos Guber Ticket

Pastor Biodun Tawede has emerged as the Mega Progressive People’s Party  (MPPP) Lagos governorship candidate.

Pastor Biodun emerged as the governorship flag bearer of the party in the forthcoming Lagos governorship election at the parties primaries held at Jabita Hotel in Ikeja.

At the primaries, four persons were elected to run for the Federal House of Representatives  election while 12 other persons were elected to run for the  Lagos State House of Assembly election.

The four House of Representatives aspirants are Hon. Akinola Mendes,Ojo Federal Constituency,  Hon. Remi Banjo,Surulere 1, Hon. W.A. Amusa, Ibeju Lekki, and  Hon. Momodu Aderogba, Apapa.

Those elected to contest for the lagos house of Assembly election under the party are Hon. Afolabi Joshua- Ifako/Ijaiye, Hon. Lasisi Oluwasegun-Ibeju Lekki  2, Hon. Idris Agboola-Ibeju Lekki 1, Hon. Omotayo Oladimeji-Mainland 2, Hon. Tajudeen Gaji-Ojo 1, Hon. Abolaji Timilayin,-Ojo 2, and Hon. Oladele  Idowu-Mushin 1.

Others are Hon. (Mrs) Ambe Alice-Badagry, Hon. Aderinoye Olalekan Lateef-Apapa 2, Hon. Obafunsho kosoko-Mushin, Hon. Adesanya Adewale-Ikorodu 1 and Hon.  Sanni Adewale-Ikorodu 2.

Speaking after the primaries, Pastor Tawede, who is also the chairman of the party, commended all members of the party for the peaceful primaries.

He enjoined them to work together to ensure the success of the party at the coming election both at the federal and state levels.

Expressing optimism that the party will win the governorhip election in Lagos State, Pastor Biodun promised to transform all sectors of the economy when  elected into office.
