Uduaghan Receives Certificate Of Return

INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega, on Monday, in Abuja, issued a Certificate of Return to Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan following his victory in the Delta governorship re-run  election.

Jega, accompanied by INEC national commissioners, congratulated Uduaghan for his victory.

Speaking on the occasion, Uduaghan said that his victory was for all the people in the state.

He said: “The result of the re-run election is a victory for all in Delta and it is a victory for unity, a victory for peace in the state.”

According to him, the outcome of the re-run election vindicates the presence of God in the state.

In his assessment of the conduct of the election, the governor said there were challenges regarding the voters’ register used for the election.
