The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Prince Ifeanyi Dike, is down with a kidney problem, and needs at least N50 million to bounce back hale and hearty.
P.M.NEWS gathered that the lively actor has been battling the ailment for about a year now, and has spent a lot on dialysis, but now, he needs the support of his colleagues and Nigerians in general to undergo a kidney transplant in India.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS, Dike said “you know that I’m a shy person, so I have been trying to solve the problem on my own, but now that it has drained my pocket, I have no choice than to seek help from friends.â€
National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Segun Arinze, told P.M.NEWS that the guild is currently making efforts to raise the money for Dike’s treatment.
“It’s a pathetic one actually because this man is one of the strong pillars of Nollywood. We’ve been reaching our friends to see how we can come to his rescue,†said Arinze.
Prince Ifeanyi Dike is one of the founders of Nollywood.
