FAAN Office Shut

The Board of Internal Revenue has shut the premises of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN, Benin Airport over non-remittance of appropriate income tax to the  coffers of the state government.

Efforts to contact FAAN manager over the closure proved abortive at the time of filing this report.

However, the Permanent Secretary of the board, Mr. Sunday Okundia, said that FAAN is owing over N50 million, being short fall  in tax paid by the parastatal over the past six years.
