ACN Aspirant Lauds Leadership
For listening to the cries of the people, a chieftain of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, Alhaja Muyibat Rufai Adeyemi, has lauded the leadership of the party in the state.
Alhaja Adeyemi who contested for the House of Assembly slot for Ojo Local Governemnt constituency 1, described the Henry Ajomale-led AC N leadership in the state as a listening one which has the interest of members at heart.
“I am happy to belong to ACN because it is the party of progressives. The Henry Ajomale-led leadership in the state is also a listening one.
“When we protested the results of the primaries held at the secretariat last Wednesday, they corrected the mistake and put the real winner on the list,†she said.
The Lagos-based businesswoman further appealed to the leadership of the party to correct all the wrongs associated with the last primaries and compensate the losers.
“AC N is a big party and there is enough to go round. We should avoid the trap set by our enemies who are doing everything possible to cause disaffection in our party so that they can capitalize on it to upstage us at the April elections,†she added.
Alhaja Adeyemi also called on the residents of Ojo to go our en masse and register in the ongoing voter registration exercise.
She described the exercise as a crucial one that will enable them express their minds on the performance of their leaders.
“Registering to vote is one of the civic responsibilities of a good citizen. It is by registering that you can vote. If you don’t register to vote, you cannot vote.
