Students Speak On Favourite Lecturers
In the search to identify remarkable lecturers in higher institutions of learning, Campus Square spoke with undergraduates from various universities and polytechnics in Nigeia about their favourite lecturers.
The vox pop was conducted with the aim of appreciating the fantastic works of these great role models and their contribution towards the training and betterment of Nigerian students.
University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)
Mr. Michael Ukonh is rated as a very interesting and tasking lecturer. He teaches Information Computer Technology (ICT) in mostly all the departments in the institution.
This average height, light complexion and handsome man drives a Nissan Bluebird car and is regarded as the students’ favourite because of his friendly disposition towards students of the institution.
He is mostly called Akpucative by the students of the institution and he is seen as a strong and determined man.
Ngozi, a 300L student of Mass Communications in the institution said: “He is the favourite because of the way he delivers his lectures and he is considerate.”
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho:
Mr. Itabiyi is one of the most loved and youngest lecturers in this institution. He takes students Mechanics of Machine, Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Thermodynamics and he is in the Engineering Department.
