President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed wife of Mrs Bianca Onoh Ojukwu, the wife of the recuperating leader of defunct Biafra Republic, Dim Odumegwu Emeka Ojukwu a his Special Adviser on Diaspora Affairs.

The surprised appointment was announced by spokesperson to President Jonathan, Ima Niboro today.

With the general elections just some months away, the appointment of Bianca Onoh is being seen as a way of courting the support of the Igbos in the South East part of Nigeria who generally still holds her husband in her esteem over the role he played in the civil war.
