Edo Assembly Approves Budget
The Edo State House of Assembly has formally passed the 2011 Appropriation bill into law.
The bill was presented to the House by the state Governor Adams Oshiomhole for deliberation and approval.
The 2011 Appropriation bill estimate which was originally pegged atN105.63 billion was increased to N112,727 billion.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bright Omokhhodion, said during the plenary session that out of a budget of N112,727.407,765 billion approved, N68,810,662 billion has been earmarked for capital expenditure while the recurrent expenditure will gulp N43,904,326,103 for the fiscal year.
