Team manager of the Dr Bukola Saraki side, Alloy Chukwuemeka, said after the match that his  club met a strong side, but subdued the Naze Millionaires due to their youthfulness,  determination and resilience.

“I think Heartland studied some of the tapes of our matches, that was the reason they were able  to cage our boys.

“I praised their coaches for a job well done and the scorer of the lone goal, Alhassan Saleh,  is one of our new signings, they didn’t know him,” he said.

Chukwuemeka, who spoke to SuperSport.com,  praised his boys for their performance even as he  dedicated the hard earned victory to Governor Bukola Saraki, who also won a senatorial ticket  the same day.

Spokesman of Heartland FC,  Cajetan Nkwopara, however, admitted that their hosts were the  better side, adding that  they lost but were not disgraced by the in-form Bukola Babes.

“They got a good goal, but I will not say they were totally better, we played our hearts out to  pick a win. It was a good encounter and I give it to them, at least, they got the goal and  three points.”

Despite the fact that Heartland are yet to break the away win jinx, Nkwopara assured that it  will happen very soon.

“Our time will come, it will come unexpectedly and perhaps from a team you never imagined. We  are still working for an away win, we have got away draw, we do not want to lose sleep over it,  it will surely come,” he said.
