CNRP Urges CPC, ACN To Produce One Prezy Candidate
The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP), has called on the leadership of CPC and ACN to form an alliance, to present a common presidential candidate for the April general elections.
The appeal is contained in a statement signed by Mr. Osita Okechukwu, the National Publicity Secretary of CNPP and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Monday.
“CNPP calls on the leadership of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), and indeed all progressive political parties to as a matter of urgent importance, close ranks.â€
It stated that the best way to win the elections was through an alliance between the ACN and the CPC.
“CNPP challenges the leadership of CPC, ACN and other progressive political parties to close ranks and present Nigerians with alternative common presidential candidate on or before close of substitutions of candidates in February.â€
