As the newly elected PMAN executive-led by Admiral Dele Abiodun take the oath office on Teusday, 8 February, 2011, the new president has accused his predecessor in office, Chief Tony Okoroji, of misleading the younger generation of musicians.
Speaking with P.M. Entertainment recently, Adawa Super king as Abiodun is popularly called, said: “I am surprised that a person of Okorojiâ€
According to him, Okoroji, being a foundation member of PMAN, the Constitution Drafting Committee and former President of the association he ran for seven years, should know better.

While calling on the younger generation of artistes to come and be part of the association, Abiodun said: “If they want to form a parallel association, all is well and good, there is freedom of association, but PMAN is a trade union and the umbrella body for all musicians, I donâ€
Reacting to the allegations, Okoroji said “Dele is my friend and I am proud of him, but nobody can stop the new generation artistes from expressing themselves because they are part of the industry and nobody can deny them of that.â€
