Jonathan Promises Transparent Governance

President Goodluck Jonathan, has promised to stimulate the nation’s economy and run a transparent government if voted as president in the April polls.

He made the promise when he addressed a campaign rally in Ibadan on Tuesday.

Jonathan who led Vice-President Namadi Sambo and other top members of the ruling PDP at the national and southwest level to the rally, described the geo-political zone as a cosmopolitan zone that accommodated Nigerians from all spheres of life.

He said: “the southwest is one zone that is the most important zone in this country, because the southwest is becoming the most cosmopolitan zone where all Nigerians come.

“The southwest zone is a mini-Nigeria. Anything that happens here touches every party of this country.

“What we can promise you is that we will make sure that we run our government transparently. We’ll ensure good governance. We’ll run and administer Nigeria without any inclination to religious or ethnic nationality.
