Fashola Charges Christians
Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has charged Christians to perform their civic duties and vote in the April general election.
In an address he delivered to participants at a fasting and prayer programme in Lagos, the governor urged them to look beyond the immediate gains “from those who only want to exploit our helplessness. It is our chance to put our country firmly on the path of progress which I am sure this anointing service can prepare us.
Fashola’s address was delivered by his Special Adviser on Religious Affairs, Dr. Sam Ogedengbe.
Speaking earlier, Dr. Chris Kwakpouwe, publisher of Our Daily Manna appealed to participants to show tenacity and resoluteness in the pursuit of their goal.
