OPC Leader Applauds Court Ruling On Al-Mustapha

The president/founder of the Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, Dr. Frederick Fasehun, has applauded the  judgement of the Justice Oloko-Oba Court for dismissing the charges against Al-Mustapha and other  suspects and setting them free.

Speaking with P.M.NEWS, Fasehun said it is very sad that someone was accused of treason and kept in  detention for 12 years and at the end of it all, he was discharged and acquitted and the case  dismissed.

“This terrible national mistake has conferred some form of heroism on those gentle men and I know that  when other cases come up, Al-Mustapha will be set free to go home to his family.

Asked why he is satisfied with the release of Mustapha, Fasehun said, “I have compassionate reasons to  fight for him, but also, I have every reason to fight for social justice, the rule of law and  democracy which we are all fighting and aspiring for.
