PDP Members Allege Victimisation

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, members in Oshodi have alleged victimisation by the Chairman of the  National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Oshodi branch, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya a.k.a. MC  Oluomo

The PDP members alleged that miscreants suspected to be working for the NURTW state treasurer usually  harassed them in ward meetings as well as restrict them from pasting  posters of their candidates in  the coming April polls.

A stalwart of the party who did not want his name mentioned for fear of being attacked told Political  Platform that the miscreants are making life unbearable for the party members as far as the  forthcoming election is concerned.

Speaking with Political Platform on phone, MC Oluomo as he is fondly called, denied the allegations.

According to him, “Though my family and I are bonafide members of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN,   I cannot stoop so low as to cause unrest in the neighbourhood all in the name of politics.

“We are in a democratic setting and this gives room for freedom of speech and association; therefore,  everybody has the right to belong to any political party of his/her choice.

“But as far as my family and I are concerned, I’m an AC N member for life,” he said.
