Members of the United African Methodist Church, U.A.M.C will on Sunday, 13 February hold a one-year  remembrance service for one of its fallen heroes, late Otunba Adedipupo Akanni Dina.

The service, according to the Lay President of the organisation, Dr. Akinola Ogunlewe, will hold at  the U.A.M.C Oyinkansola Dina Memorial, Eruwon Road, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, which the late politician  singlehandedly built for the organisation in 2009.

According to Ogunlewe, the late Dipo Dina will forever be remembered in the organisation for the roles  he played while alive.

”We cannot but continue to remember Dipo. He  was such an humble and loving human being who cannot  hurt a fly, guilty to a fault and philanthropist per excellence.

“He was the treasurer of the organisation, Grand Patron of the Youth Council and a member of the Board  of Registered Trustees till death on 25 January, 2010, and he was instrumental to some of the  achievements recorded by the organisation,” said Ogunlewe.

And as a sign of honour and respect for him, the first quarterly meeting of the organisation’s Women  Fellowship earlier billed for 13 March has been brought forward to hold this Sunday in Ijebu-Ode.

Members of Dipo Dina immediate family, business associates, politicians as well as friends and others  closed associates of the late politician are expected to attend the service which will starts by  10a.m.
