Alado Absolves Self From Mushin Crisis

Alhaji Taoreed Farounbi who is popularly known as Alado has absolved himself from the crisis that rocked Mushin recently that claimed the life of a Hausa man who resided in Idi-Araba, Mushin  axis.

Alado said it was sad that he was linked with the crisis by a Lagos-based newspaper, adding that he was not contacted for his response to the crisis before the story was published.

In the report, Alado was alleged to have led a faction of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) to fight at Idi-Araba during which a Hausa man was brutally murdered. Alado claimed he neither belongs to the OPC nor the National Union of Road Transport Workers as reported and wondered why his name was mentioned in the fracas.

Alado also claimed that he was in Ghana on the day of the mayhem, adding that he could proved this with the entries on his international passport.
