Alani Ope Cup: Damilola Coach Upbeat

Chief Coach of Damilola Taylor Academy, Sulaiman Ahmed, is optimistic that his team will get to the final of the ongoing U-12 Shamsideen Alani Ope Cup.

Ahmed disclosed this after his team defeated Smart Striker of Oke-Aro 2-1 in their opening match played last week at the Julius Berger Yard Euro 65 Playground, Apapa Express, Road, Lagos State.

Damilola Taylor will play their second game against Adejumo Babes FC of Ijora in one of today’s match. A victory for Damilola will earn them a place in the quarter final.

Speaking ahead of today’s encounter,  Ahmed said his team are on course and ready to take their opponents to the cleaner. He boasted that no team can stop them from winning the trophy.

“I have a formidable  squad that can match any team in this competition. I have watched all the matches and there is no team that can stop us from winning the title. Adejumo Babes are equally good, but they will fall in today’s encounter,” he said.

Commenting on their opening match, Ahmed is quite happy that they secured the three points at stake in the opening match.  He said his team will not lose any match on their way to final.
