Action Congress Postpones Campaign
The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has announced the postponement of the North-west zone flag-off of its presidential campaign, earlier slated for Dutse on Monday, Feb. 21st.
In a statement issued in Lagos on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said it decided to postpone the rally after the police said they had granted a permit to another political party for an event on the same day.

The party said it would soon announce a new date for the North-west rally, and apologized to its numerous supporters over the postponement.
ACN launched its presidential campaign with a colloquium in Abuja on Wednesday, in a sharp departure from the usual jamboree accompanying such launching in the past and as a way of redirecting the campaign for April’s general elections to dwell on issues rather than frivolities.
