Proprietor Donates To Public Schools

A private school, Lead-Forte Gate Schools in Kosofe Local Government Area Lagos South-West Nigeria on Valentine Day donated educational and recreational materials to some public schools in Ogudu community.

Mrs. Yemi Lemo, the director of the school said the donation is to compliment the efforts of the Lagos State government towards the development of education in the state.

According to her, education should not be confined to class activities alone but should involve activities outdoors such that the three aspects of education; affective, cognitive and the psychomotor domains are implemented.

The materials were donated to Anglican Primary School and Ogudu Primary School.

Mrs. Elizabeth Ojo, Head Teacher, Anglican PrimarySchool commended the school proprietor for the donation, adding that the materials donated would be used solely by the pupils.

In her own response, Mrs. Esther Oyewunmi, Head Teacher, Ogudu Primary School, commended the proprietor and advised other private school proprietors to emulate Lead-Forte Gate Schools in giving to the less privileged.

Present at the event were Mr. Bolaji Balogun, Principal Lead-forte Gate College, Mrs. Funmilola Sotade, Head Teacher, Lead-Forte Gate Schools and Mrs. Ngozi Orakaeze, representing the Parent\Teachers Association of Lead-Forte Gate Schools
