Recharge Card Seller Stabbed To Death
A recharge card seller has been stabbed to death in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
The victim identified as John Nwaubani from Ebonyi State was allegedly murdered by a wheelbarrow pusher called Mohammed Sanni Alassani.
Sources told P.M.NEWS that the victim was stabbed at Ketu, a suburb of Lagos, after quarrel broke out between them.
Two other victims were also allegedly stabbed by Mohammed who was said to be drunk at the time of the incident. He reportedly drank some illicit gin before fighting broke out.
The police from Ketu station have begun the investigation of the incident.
When our reporter visited Ketu police station this morning, the corpse of Nwaubani was being dressed up by his relatives for transportation to Ebonyi State, Southeast Nigeria for burial.
A police source at the station confirmed the incident but declined to give details.
