The killing of Clement Kemtee Faah, a lecturer with the Rivers state College of Arts and Science, CAS, Rumuola Port Harcourt, and Pius Gbarazia, who was relaxing with him, by unidentified gunmen riding on auto-bike on Saturday has triggered tension in Yeghe Community, Ogoniland, Gokana local Government area of Rivers state, South-South.
It was gathered from police sources that the lecturer and Gbarazia were shot at a point blank range at about 10 am on Saturday.
The State’s Police Command Public Relations Officer, Rita Innoma-Abbey who confirmed the incident, told P.M.NEWS that the motive for the killing of both men is yet to be ascertained.
She however said Homicide squad from the Police headquarters has been dispatched to Yeghe to unmask the hoodlums to know the motive of the killing of the unarmed lecturer and his friend.
