Recharge Cards Dealer Stabbed To Death

A recharge card seller, John Nwaubani, has been stabbed to death by a cart pusher at Ketu, a suburb of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

Sources at the Ketu Police Station identified the suspect as Muhammed Sanni Alassani. He allegedly stabbed Nwaubani and two others, Marvelous Akibo, 25, another cart pusher and a woman, Charlos Philip, of 156, Ikorodu Road, Ketu.

P.M.NEWS gathered that the assailant brought out a dagger  hidden under his clothe during a fight which ensued after he had consumed some quantity of local gin popularly called ogogoro.

A police officer at the Ketu station confirmed the story and directed the reported to the PPRO’s office for details.

The corpse of the deceased was seen being dressed for onward journey to his state, Ebonyi for burial.

Investigations revealed that the corpse was brought to the station from the mortuary on Saturday after it was rejected following the ongoing strike by medical workers in the state. The police released the corpse to the family for burial to prevent it from decomposing in the station.

A source confirmed that the assailant would be charge to court as soon as  investigation is concluded on the matter.
