Youths in Lagos East Senatorial District of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria have been urged to shun violence in order not to incur the wrath of the law during the forthcoming election.

The Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN Senatorial candidate for Lagos East, Alhaji Gbenga Ashafa gave the advise during his visit to Ward ‘F’ at Bogije, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area of the state.

He urged the youths to exhibit good behaviour as the April polls draws nearer, while he commended the people in the area for their large turn-out.

Ashafa charged them to elect leaders with vision who would  transform their lives and bring development to the area, urging them to support the ACN.

He also appealed to the youths not to join disgruntled politicians, whom he heard were trying to foment trouble in the area during the election.

“We are peace-loving people and I want you all to imbibe the path of peaceful co-existence,” he said.

At the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Party Secretariat, Ashafa solicited for the co-operation and support of all during the election.
