A socio-political group, Eko Ko Ni Baje Social Club, has joined the clamour for the return of Babatunde Raji Fashola as the governor of Lagos State in the April 2011 governorship election.
Initiator of the group, Sir (Dr.) Charles Oladeinde Williams, extolled the virtues of Fashola, at a forum held at the Stadium Hotel, Surulere, Lagos, stressing that the governorâ€
Williams, who is the proprietor of Unity Group of Hospitals, Lagos, also reminded members drawn from the various ethnic groups in the country, that if Fasholaâ€
In his own speech, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Fashola on Grassroots Sports Development, Prince Wale Oladunjoye Snr., who represented Prince Lanre Babalola, the Chief of Staff as chairman, commended the leadership and members of the group for their cooperation and support for Fasholaâ€
He reminded members that it is by voting massively for all the candidates of ACN in the coming elections that the people of Lagos State would continue to enjoy dividends of democracy.
In his own contribution, General Secretary of the group, Israel Ogunjinrin, highlighted the aims and objectives of the club to include serving humanity by leading young people to the right direction and advocating on behalf of the less privileged, among others.
