Nigerians have been called upon to sustain democracy and institutionalise good governance in the country.
More importantly, all people, particularly women and youths who participated in the just concluded voter registration exercise across the nation, should make as their priority, free, fair and credible transition that will make their votes count during the April polls.
Making this known in Lagos, an Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) House of Representatives aspirant for Surulere Federal Constituency 1, Jemila Bolanle Muazu, noted that democracy, if sustained in a peaceful, conducive and stable environment, will bring about meaningful development which will translate to a high standard of living for the people. She described the ongoing transformation and development championed by Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State as the type Nigerians deserve and can only get such comprehensive dividends of democracy with their votes.
She advised Nigerians, particularly women and youths, to support and vote for ACN during the forthcoming general elections so that the phenomenal change in Lagos State can spread across the country.
The politician also advised Nigerians to support and invest in a leader whose attributes are well known, adding that Nigeria, particularly the Southwest, is lucky to have Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who understands and embody the core values and aspirations of the people.
