I Exhumed My Dead Sister’s Skull For Concoction -Suspect

A 35-year-old man, Bala Lawal has been arrested by the police at Birnin Gwari; Kaduna with a skull he claimed was his late younger sister’s skull.

 

Narrating why he exhumed the skull to P.M.NEWS, Bala, who claimed he is a herbal doctor, said he does not see anything wrong in exhuming his own younger sister’s skull from the grave the family buried her two years ago.

 

He narrated further that he intended to use the skull to prepare concoction for some of his patients with spiritual problems.

 

Bala ,who spoke in Hausa, confessed that he has always exhumed human skulls from old graves to prepare charms and spiritual healing drugs for patients in need of spiritual power and healing.

“I have many big men within and outside Kaduna, who come to me for charms and healing and skull is one of the ingredients I use to prepare the charms,” Bala said.

However, the Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Ballah Magaji Nassarawa said initial investigations show that the suspect is a ritualist and will prove that immediately investigations are concluded.

 

According to the police boss, the ritualist was arrested with a skull in a polythene bag at Dan-Barno village near Birnin Gwari cemetery after he had just finished exhuming the skull from the grave.

 

Magaji who informed that the suspect lied, adding that Bala had confessed to committing such offence in the past and would face the wrath of law after investigations have been concluded.
