Lagos Boxing Hall Of Fame Holds ’Morrow
The 18th Lagos Boxing Hall of Fame, LBHF, tagged ‘Monthly Saturday Boxing Show†comes up tomorrow at Rowe Park Sports Centre, Yaba at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Hall, Lagos.
Boxing In Focus gathered that the show will feature nine bouts. This month’s edition is promised to be action-packed and explosive, as LBHF continues its steady march towards bringing back the glory days of amateur boxing in Lagos.
The star contest of the day is between Shina John (Akinwande Boxing Club) and Segun Ibrahim (Warrior Boxing Club) in the 75kg category.
Other scheduled fights are    Rasheed Garuba fighting Adeniyi Emmanuel in the 69kg,    while Ibrahim Yusuf and Wasiu Balogun are up against each other in the 81kg.
In 64kg, Olusile Odus will exchange punches with Waheed Zaid,   Segun Ibrahim and Shina John   will fight in the 75kg. Aisha Oriyomi and Modinat Adeniji are up in the 51kg femalebout.
Taiwo Abioduno will face Ogunyemi Razak in the cadet category. Fatai Raji and Mattew Ojo will fight for supremacy in the 81kg, Oliwo Kazeem and Abayomi Obaleye will square up in the 56kg, while Mutiu Gbadebo and Sakiru Ishola will exchange punches in the 69kg. The last bout of the day is between Arafa Raman and Sulaiman Adeyeru in the 60kg.
