ACN Stalwarts Assure Lagosians
The campaign train of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, has rolled into Kosofe, Lagos State with party leaders promising that Governor Babatunde Fashola will serve Lagosians “even better†in the future.
The leader of the party in the zone, Pa Abiodun Sumola, flagged off the campaign in Mende, Maryland around noon with a road show. The convoy of over 500 vehicles moved from Maryland through Gbagada, Ogudu, Ketu, Ikosi to Mile 12, drumming support for Fashola, his running mate, Mrs. Joke Orelope-Adefulire and other candidates for the April general elections.
Party supporters distributed leaflets containing the profiles, aspirations and achievements of the candidates to the people.
Wearing customised T-shirts and face-caps, the senatorial candidate, Alhaji Gbenga Ashafa and House of Assembly flagbearers, Hon. Bayo Oshinowo and Jibayo Adeyeye unfolded their plans for their constituencies, promising to offer better representation to the people.
At the carnival were the state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Rotimi Agunsoye, former Kosofe council chairman, Tunde Braimoh, Kosofe council chairman, Muyiwa Adedeji, Ikosi-Isheri council chairman, Kunle Soname, Ketu-Agboyi council chairman, Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke, House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Bosun Jeje and a former member of the House of Assembly, Hon. Olu Durosimi.
