Nigeria Premier League: Fans Disrupt Match In Kastina

The Week 14 of the 2010/2011 National League has recorded a new high risk venue following the sad incidence which occured half time into the match between Spotlite FC – Katsina and Ranchers Bees FC of Kaduna.

The two brothers clash could not end due to throwing of pebbles by fans of the home team which led to disintegration of the ear of the Centre Referee, Mr Stephen Onyenji from Kano State Refreree Council.

With this deep cut, the referee could not continue the second half of the match.

Consequently, Katsina Stadium has been closed down for National league matches pending the determination of the case by NFF Disciplinary Committee.
