PDP, A Den Of Treasury Looters —Lagos ACN

The Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria has lambasted the PDP as a party of rouges who have nothing for Nigerians except wild treasury looting that has precipitated mass poverty, hunger disease, preventable death and general insecurity.

The party says that it is either the party is sacked from power in April or Nigeria will go under in a few years’ time.

In a release in Lagos, signed by the Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the ACN, Joe Igbokwe, the party said that the obscene revelry and wild party thrown for the convicted former Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority and former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Olabode George has shown that the PDP is a conclave of looters, a den of robbers and a shameless group of treasury looters who cannot do anything to better the lives of Nigerian.

It urges Nigerians who are still angry about that open support for stealing to overwhelmingly reject the PDP in the coming polls so as to save Nigeria from total collapse.

“Like most Nigerians, we are still shocked that a party should show such open support for one of their own who carried out a bizarre looting of treasury. We are still shocked that a party that want Nigerians to indulge it with many more years of ruining and looting the country dry should show such open support for public stealing. We are shocked at the impunity the PDP demonstrated in celebrating one of their own who was being released from jail for stealing public fund and we are shocked by the shamelessness and lack of decorum in celebrating somebody who in any decent land should be a pariah to any decent man or group.

“But we are not surprised at the PDP and its many dirty ways. It does not pretend to be anything other than home to Nigeria’s most audacious looters and treasury raiders and how it had reduced a well endowed country to a cringing land of despair, penury and want in twelve years of providential oil windfall shows that the PDP excels only in stealing the resources that would have lifted the lives of Nigerians. For it to make a public show of it demonstrates that the PDP is morally bankrupt, ethically wrecked and disabled to lead Nigeria.”

According to CAN, “by not making any pretension to being at home with such gargantuan corruption as the looting of the NPA, the PDP is serving notice of its unfinished business with the Nigerian treasury in the near future if it is allowed to continue to ruin this country.

” Nigerians must rise up against these audacious thieves who have wrecked a rich country in twelve years of unprecedented public stealing.

“We charge all Nigerians to arise and ensure the PDP is sent packing in the coming general election. We want Nigerians to see the power in their votes to use to end the nightmare of these twelve years of unprecedented public stealing and the impoverisation of the Nigerian masses. We want Nigerians to ensure that the bitter lessons coming in from North Africa is averted by voting out this den of treasury raiders in the coming election. We want Nigerians who are appalled by this open show of shame to show enough disapproval of PDP’s licentiousness by voting massively against this rouge party and its corrupt selfish interests, which are strong anathemas to the interests and well being of Nigerians.

“Lagos ACN has repeatedly described the PDP as a den of looters and treasury raiders, a conclave of robbers and shameless thieves. We are happy that we are being proven right by this open display of criminal impunity to the extent of publicly celebrating a convicted thief.

“We believe Nigerians are watching as the general election approaches and we still insist that a vote for the PDP in the coming election will translate for a vote for more audacious looting, bad governance, decayed infrastructures, insecurity, joblessness, poverty, etc, as we have been experiencing in the past twelve years”
