Mrs. Toyin Adelowo, a resident of Egbeda, said “we want the police authority to deploy more policemen to this area because of armed robbery attacks. We have not been sleeping well for more than three weeks now as the situation is very terrible.

“We are begging the new commissioner of police in the state, Mr. Yakubu Alkali, to save us from activities of robbers.”  Mr. Peter Adeadu, a resident of Akowonjo, also called on the governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, to deploy men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) to the area to save them from incessant robbery attacks.
