In a similar development, the office of the state CID, Panti, Yaba, was agog last week Thursday when members of the police rank and file, including stakeholders held a party in honour of the former Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Solomon Iriase who was promoted to CP and transferred to Police Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The ceremony was held for the DC in appreciation of the achievements he recorded at the state CID, Panti, Yaba.
Speaking at the ceremony, Iriase said: “I thank God I am not leaving the state CID, Panti Yaba, the way I met it. During my tenure at the command for 16 months, I tried my best to put into action what I learnt when I was the principal staff officer to three IGPs.
“I hope the rank and file who benefited from my innovation at the command would replicate anywhere they are posted to improve and move the Nigeria Police Force forward,†he stated.
