Sen. Gbemisola Saraki, the governorship candidate of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) in Kwara, on Wednesday promised to create more job opportunities for the people if elected into office.
She made the promise in Offa Local Government Area, where she canvassed for votes with the party’s senatorial candidate for the Southern Senatorial District , Mr Lola Ashiru.
Saraki said she was committed to tackling the problems facing the state.
She said she was set to become the first woman to be elected governor in the country.
Saraki described the people of Offa as peace loving and promised not to discriminate against any group if elected.
She urged the people to vote for all ACPN candidates and described PDP as a failed party.
Saraki, who is representing Kwara Central Senatorial District on the platform of PDP, called on all political stakeholders in the state to join hands to flush out the PDP government.
ACPN is the answer and the veritable alternative to PDP in Kwara State. We are fully ready to move the state forward and therefore the people should vote for ACPN come April,’’ she said.
